We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic digital marketer to join our team at Stowe, to create and distribute a wide range of short-form content to attract new audiences and engage existing members via our social channels and website.
This role is fixed-term for 6 months, with the potential for extension.
What it's like to work here:The next five years will see Stowe deliver a programme of major landscape restoration plus the creation of a multi-user Parkland Trail, all of which requires the involvement of a full-time marketer to support audience engagement, fundraising, event promotion, public information and risk management.
You'll be based at Stowe however hybrid working from home is something that can be discussed.

What you'll be doing:You’ll communicate with internal and external audiences on a variety of subjects including property operations, events, conservation work, restoration projects, history, nature and fundraising – employing different ‘calls to action’ for different target audiences.
Working closely with the General Manager and external visual design team, you’ll deliver our content strategy and support our marketing campaigns. You’ll boost brand awareness whilst driving traffic to our social media platforms and website with the aim of driving repeat visits to Stowe by existing members and encouraging first-time visits to Stowe by target audiences.
To be successful in this role you’ll need a thorough understanding of how to create effective content and how to use it across different platforms and for different demographics. It’s about inspire communities, bringing people together around themes, shared interests, hobbies and ideals. You’ll also need a passion for nature, beauty, history and the charitable aims of the National Trust.
Who we're looking forTo deliver this role successfully, you'll need to have;
- A good understanding of marketing principles
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Digital marketing experience, including web
- Customer service skills
- Good IT Skills (including Microsoft Office)
- Problem solving skills, and ability to work on own initiative
- A creative approach
