About Us
Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Clubhouse Team Leader to join Team Rockliffe!
The Role
The main responsibilities of the role will be (but not limited to):
- To have passion, enthusiasm, and to be able to lead a team with confidence.
- To be able to work as a team member and communicate effectively at all levels
- To be confident in briefing team members in preparation for service.
- To maximise revenue opportunities by up selling premium products and services wherever possible and to set targets for all team members.
- To ensure any product wastage is kept to a minimum and is correctly recorded
- To ensure all equipment/furnishings are well cared for and stored safely to prevent damage, including the outside furniture.
- To make informed decisions regarding staffing levels if expected business activity changes
- To be able to assist the Managers and Supervisor in cellar management and stock control.
- To be aware of any ordering that is required and record it on the appropriate order sheets.
- To observe all team members to ensure they are delivering the correct service standards and that all guests are receiving a warm, friendly and professional service
- To respond positively and professionally to any guest complaints, implementing appropriate service recovery techniques
