Job Role:
The job involves reporting to the global head of engineering and overseeing the architecture and software development team to understand the strategic direction. The main responsibilities include planning and supervising the implementation of the desired functionality in collaboration with the team. All deliverables will be implemented in an Azure environment, with an emphasis on performance, automation, monitoring, logging, and security. Therefore, candidates must have a strong understanding and extensive hands-on experience in modern Cloud environments, including DevOps and CI/CD processes.
The ideal candidate should also come from a background in development and a solid understanding of the Microsoft stack, including C#, Web APIs, and Azure. You will have further developed your skills and be comfortable leading teams and projects as you will be expected to be hands-on for around 30% of your time (70% management). Any experience managing and collaborating with teams globally would be advantageous.
Skills Required:
- Strong C# and .NET core development experience for enterprise-grade projects.
- Design and development of high-performance REST APIs and system integrations in Azure.
- Proficiency in documenting APIs using Open API 3.x / YAML / Swagger.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services: Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Service Bus, Function Apps, APIM, Front Door, Auth0, WebSockets.
- Knowledge of secure and scalable Azure development, deployment, and support.
- CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance using Azure DevOps.
- Performance tuning of APIs and Azure Functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and emphasis on test automation.
- Quick learning, adaptability, and focus on continuous improvement.
