Clinical Trials Manager
Here at Boots UK, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team on a full time, permanent basis as a Clinical Trial Manager (CTM).
In your role as Clinical Trial Manager, you will oversee and manage clinical trials with biopharmaceutical companies (Sponsor) including participating in the pre-sales, contracting, and ensuring the clinical trial meets contractual requirements in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and practices. The role of the Clinical Trial Manager is focused on project delivery, productivity, and quality to ensure strong customer and patient satisfaction for clinical trials.

In your role as Clinical Trial Manager, you will oversee and manage clinical trials with biopharmaceutical companies (Sponsor) including participating in the pre-sales, contracting, and ensuring the clinical trial meets contractual requirements in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and practices. The role of the Clinical Trial Manager is focused on project delivery, productivity, and quality to ensure strong customer and patient satisfaction for clinical trials.
About the role
- The CTM will be part of the Healthcare Business Unit within the Healthcare Development & Public Affairs team
- Manage and provide accountability for day-to-day compliance and quality of the project, as defined by the contract and according to ICH/GCP and all other applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- Serve as the point of contact for the Sponsor and other functional team members for assigned clinical trial projects
- Lead activities across numerous functions to meet the objectives of a given program including scope, budget, and schedule
- Proactively identify solutions to improve existing clinical trial business processes, including risk mitigation plans

What you’ll need to have
- Bachelor's degree in a health or life science-related field; Advanced degree in a health or life science-related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Clinical Trial Management experience, CRO experience preferred
- Experience within clinical trial study start-up and conduct (Phases 1-4)
- Understands and maintains compliance with internal and external privacy and legal
- Strong time management and leadership skills
