Location: Combination of home and office working in one of our office hubs (London, Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle) with occasional travel to the London office (if living outside of London, travel will be expensed)
Frontline is England’s largest social work charity. Our mission is to create social change for children who do not have a safe or stable home, by developing excellent social work practice, leadership and innovation. We are recruiting 3 talented and enthusiastic graduates to join our Selection Team and help recruit the next generation of social workers to go on and support children and families across the UK.
A little bit about the role
The Recruitment team is an award-winning team responsible for selecting and hiring diverse individuals who have the potential to become excellent social workers on the Frontline programme.our qualifying programme for social workers. It is split into three areas, Attraction, Selection and Admissions.
The internship offers the opportunity to take on a crucial role for the Selection Team as a Selection Coordinator. You will work with the Selection Manager and Selection Officer to ensure the delivery of a highly effective and efficient recruitment process and to ensure the candidate experience is positive throughout. The Graduate Internship is also a great chance to begin your career in the charity sector and join a fast-moving organisations with great opportunities for networking and progression.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Facilitate at Frontline assessment centres, supporting assessors and sharing responsibility for ensuring days run smoothly and consistently.
- Support the Selection team to update and prepare assessment centre materials ahead of assessment centres, using careful attention to detail
- Attend attraction events (e.g., on university campuses or webinars) to represent Frontline and to promote the Frontline programme
- Contribute to wider recruitment projects as and when required (e.g., developing training for Brand Managers, supporting with the allocation of Frontline participants to local authorities

You will be an enthusiastic graduate with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a passion for social change. The role is dynamic and the best fit will be someone who is an effective problem-solver, and can adapt especially when in pressurised situations.
