Responsibilities
The IT Change Control Coordinator ( IT CCC) is responsible for assessing, reviewing and coordinating the BTS department’s IT change and release management processes including reviewing workflow and processes, recommending changes ensuring they are within pre defined agreements, auditing changes ensuring proper tracking, controlling escalations and preparing management reports. The IT CCC coordinates the “cradle-to-grave” lifecycle of IT changes and new systems releases as per Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). The IT CCC ensures that changes are released on schedule and that IT management and the business are properly informed as to the timing and the results of all systems and applications changes.
The IT CCC chairs the weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings. Provides education to IT staff on related processes and provides training as required in the use of automated support tools.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Requires Grade 12 graduation plus a one (1) year certificate program from a recognized institute of technology specializing in information systems including various Microsoft versions and associated computer related courses, word processing and spreadsheets, etc.
EXPERIENCE:
Requires two and one-half (2 l/2) years experience providing technical support in a networked environment coordinating changes and new systems releases, prioritizing and coordinating workflow and processes. A further period of up to six (6) months is required to become familiar with the corporate IT environment, its operating systems, software and procedures.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
Work Schedule
37.5 hours per week.

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.
Rate of Pay
Salary $5,115 - $6,142 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
