Job description
Sexual Health Fife is looking for a Clinical Support Worker to join our team. We are looking for a team player who is able to work without direct supervision and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be non-judgemental, enthusiastic and compassionate and have a keen interest in sexual health nursing. Phlebotomy is an essential element of this post but not a pre-requisite as training can be provided.
You are also required to be flexible and able to travel throughout Fife. Clinic sessions will include mornings, afternoons and evenings.
If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post
