About The Company
Based in West London, we supply healthy cakes to cafes, shops and direct to consumer. With over 25 flavours, we use real ingredients from free range eggs to Belgian chocolate and fresh fruit purees to create healthy cakes. We love to experiment so you may find some unusual ingredients in our cakes from tofu to sweet potato. You will join a friendly team in our production unit in Park Royal. We’re a small team working closely together in all aspects. Our office and production are on the same site, located in Kendal Court trading estate with other small to medium sized businesses from charities to garages. We bake, pack, market, sell and ship under one roof.
About The Role
We require a Packing Operative to join our team in West Acton. The hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm with a 30 minute break for lunch. You will be working in our production kitchen with the closest tubes being West Acton and Park Royal within 10 minute walk.
Responsibilities
- Processing orders using shipping software.
- Picking the days orders from a pick sheet.
- Packing mailorder and trade orders from a pack sheet.
- Regular daily cleaning and deep cleaning.
- Following all health and safety requirements.
- Help bakery production, with things like packing cakes and prepping ingredients.
Requirements
- Great attention to detail. (Essential)
- Working understanding of English. (Essential)
- Previous experience in a similar role for at least 1 year. (Essential)
- Able to follow instructions from senior management. (Essential)
- Great attention to detail. (Essential)
- Able to work independently and part of a team.
- Adaptive and able to work quickly especially at busier times.
