We are offering an outstanding opportunity for a talented person to support Galvani Bioelectronics as Clinical Site & Recruitment Manager. As a Clinical Site & Recruitment Manager you will play a pivotal part in engaging new and current sites with the recruitment of early-stage clinical studies. This role is based in the UK at the Galvani office in Stevenage, with the option of being a home-based worker, and reports directly to the Clinical Lead Director.

Galvani Bioelectronics was established in 2016, dedicated to the development of bioelectronic medicines – a new class of medicines consisting of miniaturised, implantable devices. Formed through a partnership between global healthcare company, GSK, and leading technology company, Verily Life Sciences, Galvani Bioelectronics combines the complementary expertise of its parent companies to enable the research, development and commercialisation of bioelectronic therapies.

As our Clinical Site & Recruitment Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for internal and external (clinical sites, vendors, etc.) teams when it comes to site and patient recruitment for assigned studies. You will oversee current and future EU sites and coordinate with recruitment support vendors, CROs, and other partners to ensure efficient patient recruitment. Additionally, you may contribute to direct-to-patient study advertising efforts and support the creation of study advertising materials.

Bioelectronic medicine is an emerging scientific field, aiming to use implantable devices to change precise electrical signals in nerves to treat a range of debilitating chronic diseases. Galvani Bioelectronics represents an important step in the research and development of these medicines, combining GSK’s discovery and development expertise and deep understanding of disease biology with Verily’s world leading expertise in the miniaturisation of low power electronics, device development, data analytics and software development for clinical applications.

In this role you will

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to positively impact recruitment and retention rates for Galvani human clinical research studies.
  • Communicate on the impact of recruitment/retention tactical plans; make additional operational and tactical recommendations to ensure that overall project milestones are met.
  • Manage the scope of work, objectives, quality of deliverables and other activities of assigned vendors to ensure delivery of services on time and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful trial execution.
  • Build relationships with assigned sites for continued engagement.
  • Do assessment of adequacy/feasibility of potential clinical investigators and sites including evaluating facilities, personnel, patient referral base, and adherence to GCP.

Why you?
