Job description
The post holder will provide laboratory support for the wider Research & Innovation team. The main duties of the role are to: Undertake laboratory-based work including the analysis of samples using various technologies. Perform sample reception and processing duties including the receipt, barcode labelling and preparation of samples for analysis, loading of samples onto analysers or other laboratory equipment and sample archiving. Perform clerical tasks including data input of patient demographics and test request information.
Perform general housekeeping duties including maintaining stock levels, general cleaning and waste disposal. The post holder may be required to work at QMC campus and/or City campus of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
