A brand-new opportunity has arisen with an award-winning family-owned group of pharmacies, which pride themselves on looking after their staff.
Our client is in search of a Pharmacist Manager to join their pharmacy branch located within a tight knit community in Airdrie, Lanarkshire (ML6).
This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday (9am to 5:30pm), with 1 hour for lunch (pharmacy is closed).
Up to £64,000 per annum DOE & IP qualification, £1750 quarterly bonus, GPhC fees paid, electric car scheme option, private healthcare, and relocation support (Basic salary is up to £46,000 for a non-IP qualified Pharmacist)
Ideal Requirement for the Pharmacist Manager
- GPhC registered Pharmacist.
- Ideally you will be a qualified independent prescriber but open to any level of experience as long as you are willing to undertake the independent prescribing course (supported by the company).
- Patient focused attitude striving for good outcomes for patients.
Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager
- Dispensing prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations.
- Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting GP’s orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles, and prescribing errors.
- Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, labelling medicines.
- Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions.
- Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Technicians workflow, verifying their preparation and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges and inspections.
- Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals, counselling patients on drug therapies.
