Clinical Nurse Specialist in Complex Spine Service
Band 7, 15 hours per week Thursday and Friday

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist Nurse to join our team and deliver great care to our patients.
The successful applicant must be passionate about this patient group, highly motivated and enthusiastic about teaching all grades of junior staff within these wards. The candidate must be an outstanding communicator, can demonstrate first-rate organisational and multitasking skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently in a busy and fast paced work environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to support, train, develop and educate others; work well autonomously and as a team member in a team.
You will be supported to undertake independent nurse led clinics and further education.
The successful individual will have a pivotal role in delivering Trust Objectives as well as objectives for this service ensuring that the care delivered reflects the Trust Vision and Values.

Our Spinal service provides input across the disease trajectory from education at onset, pre and post operatively and through complexities. The safe running of this service requires an expert multidisciplinary team where the different disciplines work both autonomously and collaboratively within a detailed clinical governance framework. The team continually develops and reviews the service in line with evolving research and practice.
