Job description
Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and with over 750 staff, is one of the largest departments in the Medical Sciences Division. The NDPH aim is to reduce premature death and disability from human disease.
We are seeking a part-time administrator to provide support for the preclinical and clinical population health teaching courses across medical training, and support for senior academics who run, and teach on these courses.
The post holder will be asked to arrange various events for the teaching staff and so should have experience in arranging events (including working to identify suitable venues and arranging the financial requirements).
We are looking for someone with a previous relevant administrative experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role as well as experience of using an online VLE (e.g. CANVAS). Experience of website design and/or web editing would be desirable.
The post is part–time (0.6 FTE) and fixed term for 2 years.
