An exciting opportunity has arisen within the North East Essex Care Group for a confident, compassionate and effective leader. We are seeking candidates for the role of Clinical Manager within the Colchester Specialist Community Mental Health Team.

The Colchester Specialist Community Mental Health Team facilitates timely, safe, and effective care and treatment for the residents of Colchester. We work across three neighbourhoods; Colchester North, Colchester South, and Colchester Central.
The successful candidate's primary role will be as the Clinical Manager of the Colchester Specialist Community Mental Health Team. However this position will afford a fantastic opportunity to build a dynamic management portfolio within the NE Essex Care Group.

The Clinical Manager has overall responsibility for the safe and effective running of the service. This will involve accountability for the provision of effective and timely interventions for a large SMI patient cohort,supervision and appraisal of a multi-professional and experienced senior team, and a clear focus on meeting performance and quality targets.
The successful candidate will implement and monitor systems and cultures to promote staff health & wellbeing, be financially accountable, andbuild positive and effective working relationships across the North East Essex Alliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the mental health team ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Implement and uphold policies and procedures in line with NICE guidelines and CQC standards.
- Coordinate and manage patient care plans, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive mental health services.
- Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve the quality of our service by implementing a culture of review and feedback.
- Develop and implement ongoing education and training programmes for staff to ensure a high level of competency.
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals, agencies, and service providers to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.
