What's the role about?
As part of our Outlet Merchandising department, you'll be joining as our Assistant Merchandiser, who is responsible of supporting the Merchandiser with planning and trading of the division to drive sales, maximise profit and minimize markdowns.
Who you are
- Previous experience in Head Office Merchandising at either Assistant Merchandiser or Senior MAA level
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Commerciality awareness
- Confident verbal and written communications skills
- Passion to develop a long-term career within Merchandising
What you'll be doing
- Producing weekly trading reports to summarise, analysing and identifing key drivers with the view to propose any necessary trading action
- Managing monthly order placement and intake plans with suppliers to maintain planned stock levels - identifying lines for promotion, repeats and risk assessments
- Reviewing and reforecasting continuity lines on a regular basis
- Managing intake into the warehouse in conjunction with the buying team, warehouse and suppliers
- Highlighting delivery discrepancies and propose necessary actions to take
- Working closely with the Trainee Merchandiser to manage intake, allocation of stock and other admin tasks
- Responsible for trading key category areas
- Producing colour, price, sizing and ad hoc analysis on ranges
- Monitoring and reviewing outlet performance to potentialize profit
- Working closely alongside the rest of the Merchandising department as well the Buying and Design teams
