Newly Qualified – 2 years PQE Private Client Solicitor
Fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified - 2 years PQE Private Client Solicitor looking to work full time (part time will also be considered for the right candidate) for a dynamic, positive working environment that will allow you to further develop your skills and legal career. The role may include a mixture of both Private Client and Conveyancing work.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is passionate, proactive, and detail-oriented who relishes new challenges. If this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you. Experience in both Conveyancing and Private client is preferred but not necessary. You must be qualified in Scottish Law, obtained an LLB, post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and undergone a 2 year Traineeship. Second year Trainees looking to assign may be considered.
Role Objectives
· Able to manage own caseload and provide timely and sound legal support on a range of Executry matters.
· Manage a varied caseload effectively
· Remain up-to-date about the latest developments in the field including CPD requirements
· Recognise and support the firms strategic objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage legal documentation including drafting Wills, Powers of Attorneys, obtaining Confirmation, maintaining and distributing estates
- Conduct legal research and investigate the facts of each case
- Liaise with clients and relevant parties
- Manage clients expectations by adopting a proactive approach
