The opportunity to join us as an Graduate is one that is unique, challenging and rewarding. We are currently looking for world-class talent to join programme starting on 19th September 2023 in our Edinburgh or London within our Client Group business.
The Client Group is the face of abrdn to our clients. Our role is to understand what our clients need and to make sure we have the solutions in place to meet those needs. We engage with clients and prospective clients around the world, we help them invest in our products and we look after them throughout their investment journey. As part of their journey, we ensure that they have the right solutions in place, which meets their requirements.
In order to provide our clients with the best possible service we have a range of teams that sit within the Client Group, some of which include: Institutional and Wholesale sales teams, Client Service and Client Relationship Management, Request For Proposal (RFP) teams, and Insurance to name a few. If you enjoy building relationships you will thrive in the Client Group.
From day one, you’ll contribute to our ambitions whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
Regardless of which team you join within the Client Group business you will gain a depth of experience; getting the opportunity to work with seasoned professionals across our business and engage in development activities with your peers on the internship programme. You will be based with the same team throughout the placement.
What Our Graduate Programme Offers
Our graduate development programmes provides you with the opportunity to rotate around the business for six month placements giving you exposure to the wider business and the option to complete one rotation outside of your base location.
To support our graduates to get going quickly we provide an extensive induction giving you access to hear from senior professionals across the company, complete soft and technical skills training courses and get to know your cohort of graduates.
Further to formal structured development programme and rotational opportunities, as a graduate you will be supported to work towards a recognised industry qualification.
About You
We are looking for recent graduates, from a variety of degree disciplines, who can demonstrate the following capabilities:
