The Role
Praetura Invoice Finance is the newest part of Praetura Group’s SME working capital finance division. We are passionate about providing SMEs with client-focused and adaptable funding solutions. We will be providing Factoring and Invoice Discounting as a ‘no-legacy’ lender providing expert, seamless, responsive, and trusted working capital solutions based on a strong relationship management ethos supported by great digital technology.
Due to the growth of our team, we are looking for a Client Executive to provide excellent levels of day-to-day client service, and risk management for a portfolio of Factoring and Invoice Discounting clients. You will assist with new client take on, in life sales ledger management, funding oversight, and collections. As we’re a new start division, there will be real potential for growth, future progression, and to help build how we do things.
Key aspects of the role include:
· Working closely with other members of the team to implement and maintain excellent standards of client service.
· In tandem with Sales colleagues, ensuring that the transition from prospect to client is managed brilliantly so it’s a positive experience for the new client.
· Maintaining professional relationships with, and seeking to maximise the funding we provide to our clients, by understanding their business and needs, and dealing with their queries quickly and effectively.
· Develop and maintain standard KPC’s and monitoring techniques for ensuring these are always fit for purpose.
· Ensuring the security and profitability of your portfolio of clients through effective debt verification and credit control. trend and information analysis, reviewing of key trends and acting on them.
· Undertaking processing (and day end balancing) of sales ledger transactions, client payments, month end disciplines
· Being flexible to support all area of the business as we grow.
Experience and skills
· Self-starter with a willingness to learn and attain new skills along with the flexibility to support all areas of the business in the early stages.
· Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for great service.
· Ideally experienced in a similar role or have the base experience to be ready for it by having a good working knowledge of Invoice Finance in the areas the role covers.
· An understanding of key risk management requirements in Invoice Finance.
· Appetite to help us establish and grow our business.
· Well organised, good attention to detail and tenacious when faced with a challenge.
· Good MS Office IT skills and ideally experience of working with industry standard operating systems.
