Course Leader in Forensic Science

Colchester

Up to £37,733 per annum

Permanent – Full Time – 37 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in boosting the opportunities and self-belief of young people as an enthusiastic Course Leader in Forensic Science.

About the role

Working within our team of tutors, you’ll be committed to delivering excellent teaching/learning programmes to students of all abilities. Assisting the Area Head and Assistant Area Head, you’ll take the lead on the Forensic Science Level 3, to ensure the highest standards are met for all learners and to inspire the next generation of scientists. You will provide quality teaching and learning for BTEC Level 3 Applied Science and Forensic Investigation students and BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Applied Science students.

About you

You’ll be educated to degree level or above and/or hold a professional qualification in Science. You’ll either hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or have a willingness to work towards this within 3 years, as well as a real passion for teaching and inspiring young people. Experience of teaching across a range of courses within the subject is essential, and ideally, you’ll have experience of leading a team.
