Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our reception team in a busy small animal practice based in Walsall in the West Midlands. We are looking for an experienced, friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our reception team as a client care advisor.
The position will be full time working 30 hours per week - this will include late shifts working until 7pm weekdays and 1:3 weekends (Saturdays 9am-5pm and Sundays 10am- 4pm) .
You will be responsible for:
- Booking appointments
- Greeting clients and offering support
- Managing payments
- Making and receiving telephone calls
- Registering care plans
- Managing emails
- Completing daily task
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the waiting area
- Daily cashing up
- Smooth daily running of the practice
- Maintaining front of house standards to the highest level
Attributes required:
- Effective communication
- Excellent IT skills (training will be provided)
- Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Exceptional customer service skills and patient care
- Previous Veterinary Reception experience
- Ability to build good working relationships with clients and pet
- Professional and approachable
- Friendly, kind and caring
- Remain calm under pressure
- Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues
- Animal lover

Experience:
- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
