As well as having a central hospital with a referral centre and a dedicated night team, we have several local practices such as Alfreton and Park Farm that are in the heart of their communities, offering first class care at a convenient location for pet owners.

Being at the heart of the business, the Client Care Advisors are often the first point of contact for clients so first impressions count. Our Client Care Advisors are highly skilled and professional, offering a world class service to clients and helping to support our vets and nurses in providing a caring and professional veterinary service to the patients.

Our outstanding Client Care team are there for our clients, answering the phone, welcoming them and their pets into the practice and ensuring they are looked after and have everything they need every step of the way. They are a professional, friendly, and dedicated team, and often the first contact with our clients so are vital to our business.
Your role as Client Care Advisor at the Langley Mill Practice will be very varied with no two days being the same. If you are looking for a challenge and the ability to make a difference, this is the role for you!
You will be taking phone calls, making appointments, assisting clients with queries, reassuring clients, listening to their needs, taking payments, solving problems and generally 'being there' for our clients.
Main duties will include:
- Promoting a positive client journey
- Supporting the clinical team in arranging the best treatment for our patients
- General reception and administration duties
You will be working on a flexible contract to suit the needs of the business. The normal hours of work will be an average of 18 hours per week. The shifts vary to fit in with business needs but will include a one in four Saturday half day shift.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous client care experience
- Confident with computers
- Flexibility
- GCSE in maths and English
- Team Player
- Love of animals
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of the veterinary industry
- Experience in Microsoft Excel/Word
- Customer Service training course attendance
- Problem Solving skills
