Job description
Prepare all patients medical notes and documentation for DTU clinics and outpatient lists. Ensure all patient records, including referral letters, are available for Day Treatment Appointments. Contact GP's/GDP's for any missing referrals and information required. Record and update all patient data and ensure the data is entered and stored on the appropriate system.
Input and update Theatreman with accurate information in the absence of a Theatreman administrator. Maintain good communication links with other departments. Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Work with colleagues and encourage a team approach.
Attend unit meetings. Undertake other clerical tasks to ensure administrative systems meet the requirements of the department.
