Job description
Working for a leading independent provider of mental health-care and adult social care in the UK, this will be a busy and varied role, so excellent communication and organisational skills will be required. Previous experience within a health-care or clinical setting is essential, along with experience of working in a team environment and the ability to follow set processes and procedures, whilst all the time thinking ahead, being professional and being proactive. An understanding of medical terminology is an advantage, and the desire to provide a high level service to the organisation.
Due to movement within the team, we are looking for a Ward Clerk on a temporary basis until our client have recruited for the role permanently. Working Monday - Friday either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, you will need to hold a valid DBS and be available to start in July 2023.
Duties will include but not be limited to; providing administrative support to the medical team, typing, minute taking, telephone calls, diary management and appointment making. You will be required to organise diaries and patient appointments directly, and liaise with other departments to organise follow ups, referrals and deal with queries accordingly.
This is a temporary role initially but could be longer term for the right person,
Pay rate £11.70ph.
Parking on site and set in a beautiful location.
