Job description
Main Duties:
- Undertake walks of all buildings daily to check upon staff & cleaning standards
- Ensure all operatives are wearing the correct uniform and PPE, and maintain accurate stock records to reflect this
- Cleaning & supervising offices to a high specified standard including toilets, kitchenettes and any other areas instructed by your Cleaning Manager
- Ensure that all areas are always cleaned to the specified standard
- Ensure the team are working productively and delivering the high standard expected
- Monitoring of all staff and identify training needs
- Complete Cleaning & Staff audits on a monthly schedule and record these using IT equipment
- Maintain accurate records of staff holiday requests and sickness absence
- Support the Cleaning Manager by attending meetings and hearings as note-taker, making accurate and comprehensive notes of what was said
- Booking in and escorting visitors and contractors
- Induct, instruct, train and develop staff through following contract specific policy and procedures – Impact Training, Toolbox Talks etc. and make accurate records of this training
- Ensure all locations consistently have adequate stock
- Understand, practise and always promote the importance of Health & Safety procedures and policies
