ISS FACILITY SERVICES is currently recruiting for a new, exciting Evening Cleaning Supervisor role for one of our clients based in Liverpool Street, London. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to further their career in one of the most prestigious and strong retail banking businesses.
Objectives:
To support the management team by ensuring the allocated sites are supervised efficiently and effectively and the specified cleaning standards are achieved and maintained.
Key Competencies:
Leading the cleaning team, ensure that all standards of customer satisfaction are met or exceeded.
- To comply with the company and customers health & safety policies.
- To adhere to the company personal hygiene standards.
- To wear personal protective equipment as required, when carrying out specific duties, in accordance with the standards of performance manual.
- Responsible for the management, training, and attendance of night shifts (weekly team brief).
- Carry out regular one to one’s with their direct reports.
- Ensure Appraisals are carried out with their direct reports in line with Company standards
- Ensure all necessary processes and procedures are in place and adhered to
- Ensure all staff maintains safe working practices through implementation of company, BICS and Health & Safety standards & regulations
- Ensure the delivery of cleaning meets agreed BICS standards/Site specifications through the completion of cleaning schedules
- Ensure all areas are kept clean through operatives/team leaders completing job schedules
- Ensure all Help Desk requests are responded to quickly and efficiently
- Develop and train new starters / operatives on BICS cleaning methods / standards to achieve required standards of performance
- Support and motivate staff to achieve required standards of performance
- Monitor standards of cleaning across site through quality checks and retain where necessary
- Responsible for managing conduct and poor performance
- Attend off site & in house training events / meetings
- Provide guidance and support to the Management team on site
- Liaise with colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement
- Liaise with Customers and Clients as require
- Carry out any additional cleaning and associated tasks as required
- Oversee and assist the management of all Periodical Cleaning tasks
- Ensure works carried out within budgeted operational hours
- Responsible for ensuring adequate consumables, materials and service are maintained
- Liaise at handover with Site Manager and ensure all staff are kitted out and ready to go, then assists operation with cleaning, waste, stairs, lifts, and entrances
Personal Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to communicate

- Team-orientated
- Presentable appearance
Experience required:
- Minimum of 1 year at supervisory level
- IT literate
Main Working Hours: 5pm - 10pm
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £13.90 per hour
