The LNER Contract Management team works with the Managing Director, senior Atalian Servest management and wider stakeholders to develop and deliver the contract; set and implement policy and coordinate the activities of the regional team. They ensure appropriate governance, commercial and financial oversight and coordinate the central supporting functions.

You will offer support and guidance to Supervisors & Cleaning operatives within your location and be proactive with the continuous development of your team and work collaboratively with other Duty Managers across the contract.

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Duty Manager to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team based at our client’s site at Kings Cross with some duty travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will have full accountability for the implementation and delivery of the client’s cleaning specifications and its services in your location.
  • You will have responsibility and accountability for all financial overtime and stock control within your location.
  • Ensure all training requirements are in place and that staff are suitably trained to undertake their role and fulfil their responsibilities.
  • You will lead in the Supervision of the client’s contract, ensuring services meet the requirements of interface with the clients, service providers and stakeholders, to ensure the expectations are being met and any additional services can be supported.
  • You will support the continuous development of the team, utilising the tools available to complete robust performance reviews and improvement plans.
  • Monitor and drive team productivity, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency with a value adding approach to all tasks.
  • Strengthen current working practices through consistent approach to all duties.
  • Play a leading role in all the development activities on the contract, understanding and implementing key priorities and creating effective action plans for the wider team.
  • Working collaboratively with other duty managers on the contract, you will identify and establish ‘best practice’ and more successful ways of working for your region.
  • You will lead by example and take responsibility for the overseeing of the daily operation for your region, monitoring efficiency and supporting a positive and successful work environment.

About You:

  • A proven track record in cleaning service delivery.
  • Experience in implementing, reviewing, and achieving the standard for safety, quality, time and cost and managing a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to operate and build credibility with employees.
  • Excellent diplomacy skills combined with the confidence and resilience to handle potential conflict situations.
