At Harrogate College we are creating learning environments where every student can achieve their full potential. Our Campus Cleaners support this goal by ensuring the college is a clean, safe and secure environment for all our students, staff and visitors, from the moment they step onto our campus to the moment we say goodbye.
We are looking for a cleaner to join our dedicated team, you will play a key role in ensuring the campus is cleaned to a high standard and in line with the guidelines and regulations in place. You will be confident enough to report any concerns or faulty equipment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
To undertake effective daily cleaning and tidying of the college premises to the agreed cleaning specification of the college, following relevant industry standards as well as Health & Safety, Security and Environmental arrangements as instructed.
Work as part of the wider cleaning and facilities team to ensure we Deliver an exemplar, customer-focused Facilities service. Pride yourself in ensuring all students, staff and visitors to the college leave with a positive image of the high standards maintained by all within the facilities department.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed and a team player. Ideally You'll have previous experience of cleaning in a commercial environment and will be used to working to a high standard. You'll take real pride in doing a great job with good attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team. As well as good working knowledge of Health and Safety.
Experience of using cleaning machines (or willingness to undertake training). It would be great if you could be flexible as there will be an opportunity for more hours or alternative work patterns on occasions to meet campus demands.
