JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative: Part-time, Casual Contract
LOCATION: Cathedral School – Cardiff CF5 2YH
HOURS:
Cleaning Operative -Monday to Friday – 4 hours per day – 4pm-8pm
SALARY: £9.50 per hour – paid fortnightly
To undertake general cleaning duties to the prescribed standards as detailed in the site specification including:
- Cleaning in accord with the specification for site
- Clean all surfaces, fixtures and fittings
- Clean floors
- Clean kitchen/catering areas
- Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas
- Clean equipment after use
- Undertake special cleaning programmes during designated periods
- Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste
- Clean and maintain waste bins
- Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and productive working environment
- Refill and replace consumables
- Report faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person
- Ensure compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures
· Must be reliable with good attention to detail.
Training:
§ Full training will be provided.
§ DBS will be carried out before employment
§ Cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
