Job description
- Contract: Full Time / 40 Hours per week.
- Hourly Rate: £14.55 per hour, plus overtime paid at enhanced rates.
- Location: DPD Reading, 2 Imperial Way, Reading, RG2 0SL.
- Days of Work: Tuesday to Saturday
- Hours of Work / Start Time: 01:30 start time.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Class 1 Tug Driver / Shunter.
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Movement of trailers/tugs through the confines of the yard in a safe responsible action.
- Adhering to yard Health and Safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Reporting any damage seen or that may have occurred during movements of trailers
- Occasional Delivery and Warehouse Work
What we’re looking for;
- The ability to work efficiently within a fast paced and pressured environment to ensure that our yard operation runs as smoothly as possible
- Have experience in a similar position
- Hold a Class 1 LGV Licence (C + E)
- A current driver CPC card
- Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work and Accountability.
