Job description
We are looking for a passionate individual with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to lead our Finance Department.
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Finance Department, managing all team members and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and compliance with the Charity’s Standing Orders for all accounting transactions. You’ll support the Director of Finance, responsible for overseeing monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, managing risk and cash flow, and preparing annual accounts, which will be used to inform strategic planning and overall management decision making.
Within the day to day tasks of the role, we ask that you ensure month-end procedures are completed, lead on the production of annual budgets and forecasts and process monthly payroll returns.
We ask that the successful candidate have previous experience of managing a finance department within a similar sized organization with comparable turnover. We also ask that the successful candidate have detailed knowledge of a range of accounting practices (including nominal ledger, bank reconciliation and payroll), they should also be a fully qualified member of a CCAB body, CIMA, or qualified by experience with an AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting or similar.
