Job description
Role Purpose
To undertake the clerical support for the Claims department in order to support the effective processing of claims
Key Accountabilities
Payment of all invoices to suppliers, both bulk & individual within contract terms
Input information onto the system and ensure that workflow tasks, reserves etc are maintained
Ensure that supplier statements are completed and returned within agreed service levels
Assist other departments in times of surge with payment/authorisation
To settle outstanding invoices through the proactive management of all parties, internal & external
Resolve incoming calls and provide suppliers with correct information
Ability to effectively deal with Supplier's queries/statements to ensure accounts are proactively managed.
Adhere to regulatory bodies that govern the claims department i.e. DPA, TCF.
Consistently passes quality audits at 90% +
Priorising and processing incoming/outgoing post
Ensure all post is dealt with in correct SLA
To ensure that all post is dealt with in line with our Working practices
Ensure all systems are updated corrected.
Consistently passes quality audits at 95%
Housekeeping completed within expect timeframes
Using proactive methods to complete any tasks
Ensure cheques on hold are actioned within SLA
Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience
Relevant Administration experience
Previous work experience within a Finance/Administration and/or customer service
Excellent Communication skills
Ability to work pro-actively, to tight deadlines and take responsibility for own workload
Consistently display LV= Behaviours and brand values
Excellent attention to detail
Competent in using MS Office
Having a positive, can–do attitude
