Claims Relationship Manager (Part-Time, Job-Share and Full-Time)
Location: We’re flexible ideally looking for someone in the Midlands, London or South of England
Closing date: 2nd March 2023
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience.
The opportunity:
We’re looking for a customer obsessed individual with a passion for delivering fantastic service to customers and brokers to join the Commercial Claims Relationship Team as a Claims Relationship Manager.
The successful applicant will be responsible for building and owning a number of customer or broker claims relationships, to support our business aspirations by improving claims outcomes, sharing insights and supporting excellent claims service delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills who want a challenge, delivering for our customers and brokers when they need us most!
This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.
What will you be doing?
- Actively promoting the Zurich Claims Proposition at claims presentations and review meetings with customers and brokers to support the acquisition and retention of profitable business
- Engaging with business stakeholders to build and execute a proactive customer and broker engagement strategy
- Working with our internal Claims function and key stakeholders to identify actual and future customer and broker needs
- Developing innovative claims and digital solutions and proposition enhancements to service customers.
- Delivering educational sessions to customers, brokers, and colleagues to improve understanding of mutual technical, process and service requirements
- Actively seeking and sharing Market Intelligence and Risk Insights internally and externally
- Reporting and escalating customer and broker issues, working collaboratively to address root causes to prevent recurrence and improve customer outcomes
- Actively promoting Zurich as a market leader and participating in ad-hoc projects as required
Who are we looking for?
- Able to communicate, facilitate and present effectively to external and internal audiences at all levels
- A proven track record in problem resolution, effective escalation strategies and influencing skills
- Knowledge of Claims technical and service standards and understand the business impact of decisions
- The ability to work on your own initiative and to influence without authority to achieve great customer outcomes
- Take responsibility for own personal development and encourage others to do the same
