As part of your internship you will be based in one of our Claims Data & Insight teams and will have the opportunity to gain an understanding into many different areas within our business interacting with colleagues from IT, Data and Business team across the UK. You will be working directly with claims information and analysing key clients and statistics to ensure exceptional customer service is achievable for the business. You will manage your own workload, whilst delivering excellent service to the operations team and beyond. Some adhoc travel to our Claims Handling Centre’s may be required.
You will:
- Begin to build relationships with stakeholders, and work with the claims data team to provide valuable insight and analysis to the business
- Learn more about the Claims Data Team, as well as the wider Claims Strategy & Customer Experience department
- Learn more about agile ways of working and operate in a team using the Scrum Framework
- Have exposure and may learn how to use various tools such as SAS, MicroStrategy, Jira, Confluence, Python etc
- The opportunity to shape your learning and experience throughout the internship
What we look for:
- Penultimate or final year of honour degree in a numerate, scientific or computing subject (e.g. Computer Science, Business analytics, Data Science, Maths, Economics, Physics …)
- On target for a 2:1 level or above
