Civil Engineering Apprentice – Mold

Team and office
You will be working within an experienced team of civil engineers, highway engineers, drainage/hydrology engineers, traffic engineers and transport planners delivering professional services of the highest quality. This team work on some of the most interesting, complex and high profile projects in the region for public sector and private sector clients. You will be mentored and developed in role by Pell Frischmann team in the St Andrews Business Park in Mold, North Wales. You will work closely with staff in other Pell Frischmann offices across the UK and in particular the teams and staff based out of the Pell Frischmann Manchester office. Regular social activities and social value initiatives are arranged and all staff are encouraged to take part.
Location of office
The Pell Frischmann office is on the first floor of the St Andrew Business Park, Queens Road, Mold. The office has good transport links and car parking is available for all staff, if required.
About the role –
You will be expected to use your own initiative and develop technical skills to support multi-disciplinary project teams as you learn. Some key aspects you will cover will be:
- Learning to use Civil Engineering design software
- Reviewing and writing reports
- Working with tenders
- Providing calculations for a range of Engineering projects
- Learning the process of Civil Engineering projects, more geared towards highways and transport.

Exciting Projects
Pell Frischmann are working on a number of key projects in region such as the Shotton Town Centre Regeneration, Deeside Park and Ride Phase 2, The Sustainable Urban Drainage Approval Board Role for Wrexham Council and the Principal Bridge Inspection of the Flintshire Bridge. Staff based in the Mold office are also working on key and high profile projects such as Liverpool Waters, Port Salford, M66 J3 and Victoria North.
Progression – On joining Pell Frischmann you will become part of an expert, multidisciplinary team where you will gain training and experience in your chosen specialism.
