Is your passion working creatively with children and families? Looking for a role with flexible working opportunities?

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to contribute to this expanding knowledge of ‘what works’ in a dynamic and evolving service. Despite the intensity of the work, it is brief in its duration since it is designed to help children, adolescents and families so that the stage that is ‘crisis’ can pass. Using the Thrive model, the CAIST team provide episodic care and plan for and support in the transfer for the ‘what next’. You will be working closely alongside the Principal and Consultant Psychologist and will, in turn provide clinical supervision and support to the Assistant Psychologist and other members of the team as required. You will have the opportunity to work within a diverse multidisciplinary team, including Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy, providing a psychological perspective and dispersing up to date evidence-based knowledge through consultation, joint working and training.

We are looking for people with enthusiasm, optimism, fresh ideas and energy.

CAIST (Crisis, Assessment and Intensive Support Team) is a vibrant and dynamic service that has 3 teams based across Norfolk & Waveney and currently offers an 08.00 to 20.00 service, 7 days a week.
