Apollo Home Healthcare is looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a lovely teenager who lives with his family in Luton. He enjoys playing Xbox, watching YouTube and loves football. Aston Villa and Birmingham City are his favourite teams!
He is an independent young boy who requires a dedicated support team to ensure his needs are met and that he has a restful night’s sleep.
Throughout the night he generally sleeps well, you will support his complex and clinical care needs including overnight ventilation, and you will observe him via a monitor which will alert you to any potential respiratory issues that require your attention.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months care experience
- Personal Care
- Medication Administration
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
- Ventilation Management
- Respiratory Care
We have the following shifts available;
- Full time and Part time Nights
- 9:30pm - 6:30am
- 2-5 shifts per week
Take a look at our pay rates
Weeknights : £11.75 per hour(£105.75 approx. per 9 hour shift)
Saturday : £12.25 per hour(£110.25 approx. per 9 hour shift)
Sunday : £12.25 per hour (£110.25 approx. per 9 hour shift)
Bank Holiday : £15.00 per hour(£135 approx. per 9 hour shift)
