We are seeking to recruit an experienced Administrator who shares our commitment to supporting children, young people and families.
This post will be based at Strabane Sure Start and Family Centre, supporting three of our children's services along with the Sexual Exploitation Ends Now (SEEN) Service.
The Role: Barnardo's is a busy and positive place to work. Every day is different, and the Service Administrator will have a critical role within our team. Within this role you will:
- Use your excellent administration and organisational skills to support the day to day running of the services
- Support with data input and data management
- Work flexibly, sometimes under pressure, to communicate written and spoken information clearly
- Support the service manager with all aspects of finance, including payment of invoices, monitoring expenditure, budget preparation and reviews
- Support and supervise a small team of staff
- Have an eye for detail and understand the importance of good record keeping
- Enjoy problem solving and managing a varied workload
- Support the manager in making sure all Health & Safety tasks are up to date
- Share our commitment to providing an outstanding service and embedding Barnardo's basis and values within all we do

Working hours: 36.25 hours per week – Monday – Friday, split as follows:
32.25 hours - Strabane Sure Start and Family Centre (Permanent)
4 hours - SEEN (Currently funded to 30 November 2023 – may be extended subject to funding)
Working arrangements: The role is office-based largely in Strabane but you may have to travel to Belfast occasionally.
Salary: £24,960 - £26,520 FTE (full time equivalent).
