We are seeking a Band 3 occupational therapy assistant (OTA) for a part time role within our friendly and well-established Children's Therapy team. This is the perfect opportunity for an OTA looking to develop their experience and broaden their skillset.

To be the perfect candidate for this OTA job, you will need to have previous experience of work with children preferably in the health or educational sector
The children and young people we work with have physical or sensory processing needs that affect them in their daily lives. You will also possess a kind, friendly and positive nature and the ability to support qualified therapists in delivering occupational therapy. You will be comfortable working with children and families from a variety of backgrounds. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to use the recording systems associated with clinical care. You will use your own vehicle to support visits into the community

The team benefits from close working with both physiotherapists and speech and language therapists and we often work jointly with families.
