Apollo Home Healthcare are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and or young people, to help support a little girl based in Burnley.
Our service user is a pre-school child who requires support throughout the night on a part time basis.
She is a happy individual who has recently started attending a sensory play facility where she will continue to develop and take part in the activities she enjoys, such as her musical toys, ceiling lights and nursery rhymes.
When you arrive on shift our service user will already be in bed, your role as her dedicated team will be to assist her on a 1:1 basis with her care needs. This can include carrying out regular repositioning, personal care and offering reassurance and soothing her back to sleep.
Experience in working waking night shifts is preferred but is not essential
Our service user has specifically requested for female to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
- Epilepsy Awareness
- Oxygen administration
- Oral suctioning
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG)
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time- Minimum 20 hrs per week
- Nights- 10pm-8am
Take a look at our pay rates
Weeknights £12.00 per hour Approx. £120 per 10-hour shift
Weekends £12.50 per hour Approx. £125 per 10 hour shift
Bank Holiday £14.50 per hour Approx. £145 per 10-hour shift
