Bioquell, is a brand of Ecolab based at Andover Hampshire UK, designing and manufacturing products based on the Hydrogen Peroxide vapour technology which is used for the decontamination in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors. The products and consumables are all manufactured on the same site as the R&D facility and then are exported globally. We are looking for an Analytical Chemist.
The role is office-based in Andover where there is a well equipped Chemistry laboratory and you will be working within a 12 strong multidisciplinary R&D team.
What You’ll Do:
- New Product Development
- Developing new and improved Chemical Indicators.
- Being a key member of the team designing and implementing new manufacturing techniques and equipment into Production.
- Develop quality and product test methods and acceptance criteria, for new and existing products
- Support of the R&D Microbiologists on the development of new products and process.
- Develop test plans and conduct testing on chemicals sold to customers, to understand the products better.

Production Support
- The Chemist is critical to supporting Production in a variety of areas including their manufacturing of Chemical products as well as more broadly.
- Supporting Production’s quality control process working closely with the Manufacturing Quality team.

Customer Support
- There are a number of varied requests coming from customers who are predominantly from the pharmaceutical sector requiring response and sometimes testing.
- Supporting failures found on customers sites where a chemical analysis is required.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry or closely related subject.
- Nice to have: Experience as analytical Chemist, however formulation experience would be helpful.
