Job description

Semi-Skilled Operatives, Cambuslang, £11.20 per hour + Overtime + monetary incentive for reaching targets

This is a long term position working Monday to Friday 6AM-2PM – transferring to permanent role after probationary period worked

What to expect:

• Manufacturing offline units
• Working to specific, fabricated drawings and detailed work instructions
• Ensuring work carried out to specific guidelines, measurements and tolerances
• Insertion of insulation as per specification
• Sheeting of units to required standard
• Operation of overhead crane
• Operation of hand and power tools
• Quality control
• Manual handling
• Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety rules and regulations
• Ensuring work areas kept clear, tidy and hazard free

• A pay rate of £11.20 per hour plus overtime paid at enhanced rates

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a semi skilled production or manufacturing role or transferable skills from a different working environment
• A solid work history
• Attention to detail and a desire to deliver high quality work
• Ability to work from drawings / diagrams and follow work instruction
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance
• A desire to settle in long term or permanent employment
