Salary Package– From £27k to 35k plus £6k shift premium. Other benefits - company pension scheme, annual bonus, private medical healthcare, social and sports club and gym membership
Shift rota hours – 12 hour shift pattern covering a 7 day week period averaging 42 hours a week, with up to 17 days rest periods every month
You’ll support the production team by ensuring all assays and analyses are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
You will have an Analytical Chemistry/Chemistry or equivalent science-based degree, or 10 years plus experience within and industrial Laboratory environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Atomic Absorption (AA), Optical Emission Spectrometry (OES) along with both Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) and ICP-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS).
You will be highly motivated and able to work as part of a team and/or on your own.
You will be part of a small team of chemists reporting to the Head of Operational Support Services.
Due to the nature of the Company’s operations, we operate a strict no-smoking policy on the premises; non-smoking applicants would therefore be preferred for this role.
