Chef - Henley-on-Thames

Summary

The Hours: Typical shift, 8am - 6pm (7.5 hours shift). Weekend working required, either 1 full weekend on, one off. Or 1 day every weekend. 37.5 hours a week, no evening or splits shifts. Working bank holidays and school holidays required. 
Ideal candidate would have line management experience, happy working within a small team, and happy to work to the National Trust cookbook. Ideally have 3 years experience working in hospitality/kitchens. 
The Salary: ?£23,556.00 pa 
Duration: Permanent role - 37.5 hours a week
Interview Date: 24th July or ASAP

What you'll be doing

With your passion for food and your appetite to provide an exceptional service to your customers, you’ll work with the National Trust Cookbook framework to prepare delicious food.

You’ll enjoy preparing food from scratch using fresh/seasonal ingredients and will be confident with creating bakes,?making, soups, stews, sausage rolls and preparing & presenting food to order served directly to the customers over busy lunchtime periods.?? 

You will receive a bespoke induction and allergen/food safety training. Further professional training & development opportunities are available

• Experience as a chef / cook within a professional setting 

• Helpful & friendly with a positive attitude

• Passionate about food

• Aware of Health & Safety compliance

• A team player with great communication skills
