Robin AI
Full Time London, England 36000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Who is Robin AI?

Robin AI is an AI-powered legal technology company on a mission to revolutionize the legal industry by making contracts simple and making legal tech readily accessible to all. Our team of experts in engineering, AI and law leverage cutting-edge machine learning technology and proprietary contracting software to enhance traditional legal services. Robin AI has recently raised a $10.5m Series A funding, whilst also seeing an impressive 20x revenue growth in the last 12 months.

The Role
Why is this role important to Robin AI? The Junior Legal and Product Specialist role fuels Robin AI’s growth by developing in-house talent. The junior role provides an opportunity to create a team that understands our model and has been trained to use the Robin AI platform from day one. This is an opportunity to take a unique route into legal services and use your knowledge of law (whether you have just graduated or have some relevant work experience) alongside building knowledge of the legal tech space. The role is at the heart of our business model, and you will get the opportunity to work with a global list of clients to draft, review and negotiate contracts on their behalf, using the Robin software platform.
Tech Stack
Responsibilities

‍Who You Are:
We are looking for talented people with a passion for law and an interest in legal technology. You may be searching for your first legal role out of university, or you may have had a couple of years of paralegal experience within private practice or in-house.

Firstly, you will want to get involved in learning how to draft and review classic transactional documents such as NDAs, release letters or joinder agreements. Whilst you should be interested in tech, you don’t need to be any good with it (we can teach you that!).

Anyone who is successful will be taken through a ‘bootcamp’ in which you will receive extensive training to draft and review contracts for our clients. Following a successful completion of bootcamp and gaining experience in the day-to-day operations of the team and the company, the JLPS cohort will get involved in product, sales, hiring and more.

Your Skills

Experience:
To be considered for the role you must:
Have 2.1 or above in a law undergraduate degree OR in another subject with a GDL or LPC.
Be based in London (or looking to relocate before you start the role). This role requires three days a week in the office.
Have the right to work in the United Kingdom without restrictions as we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Our ideal candidate will also:
Have a strong interest in learning how to draft, review and negotiate different contracts to a high standard and in a fast-paced environment.
Have an interest in legal technology and its place in the disruption of legal services.
Have well-rounded experience from different areas, whether part-time jobs, vacation schemes or involvement in societies and various extracurricular activities.
Have high standards of written communication with clear attention to detail.
Be self-motivated to learn and develop skills. We provide extensive training, but we also foster a culture of self-improvement.
Have a keen commercial sense (and a strong desire to hone it further!) and a pretty good grasp of financial jargon.
Want to work in a stimulating, diverse and intellectually challenging environment where multi-disciplinary collaboration is essential to completing projects and achieving results for our incredible clients.
DEI @ Robin AI

We want to break diversity, inclusion and equality barriers within the tech industry. In building our team, we welcome the unique contributions that you can bring, and welcome applications regardless of ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability, education, opinions, nation of origin, languages spoken, age, pregnancy and maternity, or veteran’s status.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary
£36,000
salary
Meaningful equity in the business
Flexible working from home and in our WeWork office
Focus on continual learning and development
Unlimited sick leave and gender-neutral parental leave
Technology to enable you to work seamlessly from the office or home

We are deliberate about the culture we are building, and are committed to creating an inclusive environment that attracts the best talent from diverse backgrounds. Whether it’s helping curate the Robin Spotify playlist, discussing gender equality in tech, or taking a meditation break with our holistic health plan, we want you to find your space within the Robin community.

Depending on your location, you’ll have access to WeWork amenities ranging from co-working space, bike lockers, pool tables, table tennis, free barista-made coffee and free beer in the evenings.
