We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about food and standards to join our kitchen team.
As Torquay's leading 4 star hotel, we have a 2 AA rosette fine dining restaurant, alongside our brasserie and breakfast operations. This role will be more focused on the Brasserie outlet, but offers exposure to a 2 AA Rosette environment and opportunities to develop.
A year round, permanent position working in a kitchen with a variety of menus offering both Restaurant fine dining & Brasserie, experience of working with fresh locally sourced produce is preferred.
What is expected of you:
· Prepare, cook and present amazing food in accordance with standards set by the Head Chef
· Attend to customers in a timely manner and provide a great guest experience
· Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and food safety standards in accordance with our Food Safety Policy.
· Work to minimise wastage and maximise profitability within the kitchen.
· Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
