We are looking to take on a Chef to join our small team and assist with a Cheese and Charcuterie-based menu alongside Chef's Specials and Sunday Roasts.Responsibilities:Input into the menus and overseeing specials board with Kitchen ManagerAn interest in food and cooking, and high-quality food production.Prepping various ingredientsCooking customers’ orders to a high standard and in a timely mannerRotating stock items as per established proceduresMaintaining date checkingCleaning up the kitchen ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitised at the end of the shift.Take a high level of individual responsibility in maintaining a high level of safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.The ability to work independently and as part of a team, remaining calm when under pressure at busy times.Good communication skills.The ability to complete record sheets and paperwork.Conversational EnglishNeed to Know:The position is Thursday-Sunday working between 35-40 hours per week (dependent on season)Full training will be providedKitchen is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing DayJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £27,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionEmployee discountUK visa sponsorshipSchedule:Weekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:Yearly bonusWork Location: In person
