Job: Breakfast Chef at Cowley Manor
Based in: Cowley, Cheltenham
Reports to: Head Chef
Full-time 45 hours per week
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate the breakfast service ensure timely delivery of breakfast dishes.
- Assist in the food preparation process and advance preparation where practical for the next breakfast service.
- Cook and prepare elements of high-quality dishes.
- Be aware of food allergens and dietary requirements.
- Support the Head Chef with deliveries and restocking.
- Clean kitchen stations.
- Maintain a high level of food quality, exceeding our guests’ expectations.
- Adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Apply all Health & Safety and food quality regulations.

Acquired by the Experimental Group in 2022, Cowley Manor is entering the next chapter of its life. The property is home to 36 bedrooms complemented by a spa, restaurant, cocktail lounge, library, mudroom and plentiful living rooms. The property features a postcard landscape of rolling hills and sheep dotted in the distance spread across 55 acres of idyllic countryside.
The refurbished design by Dorothée Meilichzon has taken inspiration from each chapter of Cowley Manor’s book, weaving together classical inspiration with contemporary elements across each of the estate’s bedrooms. A sort of joyeux bordel, a happy mess.
The new restaurant and cocktail bar at Cowley Manor is a place to celebrate a milestone, or simply enjoy a wonderful meal. Local produce will be at the forefront, highlighting some of Gloucestershire’s finest offerings. The spa features treatments such as relaxing massages, facials and more. gym, indoor or outdoor pool.
