Full Time Kettering, England 48526 - 54619 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Working within the Strategy & Partnerships Team within Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT), this new and exciting post will develop and support our charity strategy in the context of an integrated care system.

The successful post holder will provide a pivotal link between NHFT and the Northamptonshire Healthcare Charity (NHC). The NHC is the registered charity of Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust and Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts. NHFT also works in partnership with a range of other charity organisations.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the Trust’s relationships with its charity partners and play a key role in developing the Trust’s charity strategy and shaping the strategic direction of the fundraising work of its charity partners.

Working with a range of colleagues and internal/external stakeholders, you will be managing the profile of charitable funding in NHFT, identifying, and developing priority funding raising projects and devising reports, case studies and evidence to show how the money raised meets the charities’ objectives and benefits staff and service users.

The Charity Partnerships Manager is a new role within the Strategy & Partnerships Team designed to focus on our charity partner relationships. The charity’s mission is to make things better for patients, their families and staff by funding the little extras that help comfort people such as equipment, research, new facilities, training and more (over and above what the NHS is funded to provide).

NHFT also works in partnership with a range of other charity organisations. The Charity Partnerships Manager role will develop and support our charity strategy in the context of an integrated care system. This might mean facilitating collaboration across shared charity client groups or a system-based approach where this could yield higher public benefit than single organisations operating independently.

The Charity Partnerships Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the Trust’s relationships with its charity partners and plays a key role in developing the Trust’s charity strategy and shaping the strategic direction of the fundraising work of its charity partners. The Charity Partnerships Manager is a single point of contact on all charity matters include charity policy, legislation and governance and develops and manages the internal framework which governs charitable fundraising and expenditure within NHFT.

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

For further information on the advertised role, please refer to the job description located under the Supporting Documents heading. The full person specification can be accessed under the ‘About You’ Section of the document.
