Have you had experience in a supervisory role, a team player and somebody who can work off your own initiative? We are currently looking for a team co-ordinator in porters at Frimley.
We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff alike.
You will undertake day to day supervision of the portering services team, general portering duties and will be required to respond to emergency situations. Good communication skills along with clear verbal and written skills are essential. You will be competent in the use of IT systems and will need to be flexible, reliable and punctual. You will work a rota including weekends.
Applicants who require a Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) are unlikely to be considered for the post due to the limit on COS. Non-EEA candidates cannot be appointed to a post if a suitable qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post, as the Trust is unlikely in these circumstances to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test.
An English and Maths basic skills test will be required to be attempted prior to the interview. If the applicate is not successful in passing these tests then they will not go forward for an interview
- As a Chargehand Porter you are first line supervisor and you must act and carry out the responsibility of a supervisor at all times, you may at times be required to stand in for The Assistant Hotel Services Manager or his dedicated assistant, and may be required to attend meetings.
- To be an ambassador for the department.
- Manage the trusts EPR system to ensure patient flow
