Join us as a Change & Project Manager
- This is an opportunity to join our Cost Delivery & Productivity team and optimise the performance of the bank by designing and implementing changes that allow our bank to grow sustainably, operate efficiently, and be a great place to work
- We work collaboratively and innovatively to uncover opportunities across all areas of the bank, utilising and analysing all available information and data to bring fresh perspectives to how we can improve our performance
- You’ll be generating ideas and delivering projects in partnership with senior stakeholders across the bank, helping to influence strategic decisions that make a difference to our organisation
What you'll do
In your new role, you’ll prepare, manage and provide reporting on change initiation and implementation activities. You’ll assimilate and interpret data to develop ideas for change, and make sure that plans are in place to adequately prepare the business and engage all the appropriate stakeholders effectively.
You’ll also:
- Prepare briefing documents for senior management to outline proposed initiatives
- Identify, track, manage and mitigate any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
- Lead and define the project and make sure that the solution clearly supports and is aligned to our strategic goals and the One Bank design principles
- Support the creation of a financial business case, and make sure benefits are understood and monitored
- Track and report project costs and make sure that the project is completed in allotted budgets
- Make sure that all project deliverables satisfy the requirements and that they adhere to the agreed governance framework
The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with commercial awareness, a strategic mindset and a willingness to explore challenging ideas in a structured and data-led way. Additionally, you'll need project management experience and be comfortable interpreting financial information. Ideally, you'll also have experience within financial services or a management consulting role.
You’ll also need:
- Experience of analysing complex data and creating metrics and dashboards
- An understanding of costs and budgets
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience of preparing senior management briefs and presentations
